The Scientific Hybrid Conference "Inclusive Museums: Museum Experiences for the Hearing Impaired", organized by the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki as part of the SignGuide project, took place on June 2, 2023 with great success. The conference took place with the participation of many organizations and was attended by a large number of people with hearing problems, while the SignGuide application was also demonstrated. Related article for the workshop posted by Athens-Macedonian News Agency, was republished by a number of other electronic media, while the proceedings of the conference were recorded by a crew of the ERT3 TV station and published by the website ertnews.gr.

The second in-person plenary meeting took place on February 16 - 17, 2023 at the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. At the meeting, the current version of the application was presented, as well as the progress in the individual work packages. The training and testing of the visual-based exhibit recognition system was also performed. Finally, the planning of the first user evaluation was discussed, while the next goals of the project were set.

The video recording of the GSL training set of questions has been completed. The set includes 355 questions for the 10 exhibits considered in the project. Each question was signed by 9 signers, 5 of whom were native and 4 experienced SL users/interpreters. The recording was carried out in a specially configured area at the SPC Lab/CEID, University of Patras. At the next stage, the training set will be annotated at both sentence and gloss levels, and the recording of GSL content for the exhibit-related material (exhibit introduction the and answers to the recorded questions) will take place.

The project's kick-off meeting was held to discuss and plan the next steps. Following the lead partner's proposal the meeting took place at the premises of the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
